The Original Sky Ski model when we started in 1998, the 2010 Pro SS now features the all new board!! The Pro Model has remained the most commonly sought after hydrofoil for people starting out in the sport of Hydrofoiling! Since bringing it to market way back then we've added many features & enhancements to it to make it more user friendly, perform better and last longer.
The Pro Model is versatile enough to learn how to fly, or learn your first flip on. And, just like all of our Sky Ski models & components, the Pro SS is upgradeable. If you decide later on that you'd like to add a Shock or Evolution Tower, or maybe one of the higher end hydrofoils, rest assured they will all bolt right up to the Pro SS components. The Rock Tower (20-0100)
The Pro comes equipped with the reliable “Rock Tower”. This tower is constructed with aircraft quality 6061 plate aluminum & features a durable, bright red powder-coated finish; 2“ thick seatpad with Traxx surface to keep you stuck to the seat; the Sky Ski double locking belt; and ratcheting handles for a sure-grip when tightening the foil in.
The Board (30-0110)
The board is made with a high density closed-cell foam core and premium fiberglass materials, then compression molded for optimum strength, durability & performance.
The Bindings (50-0106)
The soft, stretchable rubber bindings and comfortable molded EVA footpads insure a secure and comfortable fit for all different sizes and shapes of feet. (One size fits most)
The Foil (40-0100) The 6061 Billet aluminum foil is made with strength, durability, performance and ease of use all in mind. Constructed out of aircraft quality billet aluminum, it is equipped with the traditionally stable “flat front” & “flat rear” wings,(“flat” refers to the trailing edge of the wing being either “flat”(straight), or “bat”(curved)). The T-bar starts out as 2 pieces and is joined together via a “mortise & tenon” type joint, and then bolted together. It is then polished to a deep shine, when its done it looks like a mirror! The “wet strut length” is 29.5” making it easy to learn on and advance on as well.
